My wife is an American Veteran of the USAF. She is now in a VA hospital recooping from a complete colon removoval. She has only 4 to 5 feet of upper intestines from and may be put on a list for a bowel transplant as of yesterday. This morning of all days I see a news report about a succesful bionic bowel. Thanks for providing your life online for hope.
